GRANT CHALLENGE FROM COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF WEST GEORGIA
The Community Foundation of West Georgia has given the Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park a $20,000 matching grant. We have one year from October 1, 2007 to raise $20,000 in order to get the matching $20,000 for the FOUNTAIN FOR THE PARK. We currently have $6,583 and we need your help!
Please support the 5th Annual Cross Country 5 K Autumn Run on November 11, 2007 sponsored by the Carrollton Junior Woman's Club. All the funds raised will also apply to our matching grant.
Challenge your friends and neighbors to contribute to this worthy cause and let's get that fountain constructed in record time. This will be an excellent way to show our Veterans and Troops that we care about them and that we appreciate their service to our country.
