CCVMP RECEIVED USA FLAG FROM WOODMEN OF THE WORLD, LODGE 100

The Veterans Park Committee met at the AG/ED Center on April 25, 2011, and had 26 members present. President Norris Garrett conducted the meeting and led the discussion about the upcoming Memorial Day Program at the Park on May 28, 2011, Saturday, 10 A.M. Garrett said that all the inscribed bricks will be in place and the latest contributors of $500 or more will have their names on the Contributor Wall of Honor before the Memorial Day Ceremony.

The Woodmen of the World, Lodge 100, presented an 8 foot by 12 foot USA Flag to the Park and it will be flown over the Park for the first time on May 28. Everyone was excited to see that it was “MADE IN THE USA.” We appreciate all the patriotic things this organization does especially for the contributions to the Park.
