FOUNDATION PAD FOR THE PAVILION

Sammy Robinson is paving with bricks between the sidewalks that connect the Walls of Honor and Fountain Sections of the park to the pad (foundation) for the Pavilion. Currently we are raising funds to construct the Pavilion and work will continue as money is received. It is estimated that it will cost $40,000 and it will be built with materials to enhance the existing park. Call 770-836-1111 for more information.

VETERANS PARK GETTING READY FOR WINTER

Landscaping at the park anticipating winter weather - 81 bales of pine straw were placed around all the flower beds, shrubbery and trees. Rye grass was planted to keep the area looking nice and green throughout the winter months. Donations earmarked for landscaping would be greatly appreciated - remember all donations are tax deductible under the 501 (C) (3) section of the IRS Code. Make checks payable to the CCVMP and sent them to PO Box 1062, Carrollton, GA 30112.
