CARROLL EMC PRESENTS GRANT TO VETERANS PARK

The Carroll EMC Foundation Round-Up Program helped a lot of local non-profit organizations on August 8, 2012, when they presented the 2012 Impact Grants.  Each CEMC Customer who participates in the “Round Up” program is making a difference.  Judy Rowell (right) stated in her opening comments at the meeting that in the last 10 years over two million dollars have been distributed.  The Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park Committee received $1,500 which will be used to help cover the cost of the bronze alphabetical Directory for Walls of Honor numbers 17 – 20.  Pictured left to right: Judy Awbrey, Norris Garrett (Park President), Violette Denney (Park Treasurer), and Judy Rowell.
