MEMORIAL DAY PROGRAM MAY 26, 2012

Daniel Jackson, President/CEO of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce will be the featured speaker at the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park, on May 26, 2012, Saturday 10:00 A.M. He has been involved behind the scene helping with many of the Park programs and especially with the speaker system. Everyone is invited to come and participate in this program to honor and remember our Veterans and help celebrate this great country which they have protected and preserved for us. This is a great time to visit the Veterans Memorial Park and appreciate the progress being made there. Currently we are working on Wall of Honor number 21 – all veterans connected to Carroll County who served honorably deserve to be recognized for their patriotic service. This is an excellent gift for any occasion. The 12 bricks sold recently will be inscribed and installed by May 26th, ready for viewing. The program will begin with the Bell in the Bell Tower ringing at 10 A.M. Followed by: Welcome - Will Smith Invocation - Bruce Holley Laying of the Wreath & Pledge - Central High, ROTC National Anthem - Carol Jackson Carroll Community Wind Ensemble - Terry Lowry, Director Introduction of Speaker - Norris Garrett Speaker - Daniel Jackson God Bless America - Carol Jackson Taps - Larry Jennings
