UWG STUDENTS VOLUNTEER AT THE CCVMP

The Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park Association was thrilled to host a group of wonderful UWG Students on Friday 9/8/2017 as part of their Community Service Day. They worked hard to refresh the sand in all the cracks in the brick walkways in the park - Come see how that spruced up the general appearance of our beautiful park THANKS UWG students.
It is our privilege to host these young students, to be able to relate with them and share our mission with them.
- It's a "two edged sword" - They help us with sprucing up the park and we remind them of our country's past and explain that Freedom really is not Free.
Maybe you could make a web post out of the three super pictures that Melanie made with the students.

The captaincy errand starts later at night, where Hina and Sapna pick one of the competitors as their delegates, who sit inside isolated glass fenced in areas. Alternate competitors pick sides, and continue placing sand into the glass holder having a place with the other chosen one.
