UWG STUDENTS VOLUNTEER SERVICE PROJECT

There were students busy at the Park improving the walkways.  The names are not available but we appreciate their service and their time was well spent making our Park look better and honoring our veterans.  We received a letter from Amber M. K. Smallwood, Ph.D., Associate Dean, College of Social Sciences stating, "I want to thank you for the opportunity to partner for the College of Social Sciences 3rd Annual All-College Service Day last Friday. In total, the College of Social Sciences had a team of 100 faculty, students and staff participate across the eight service projects. From paving walkways to spreading sand to walking dogs, pulling weeds, organizing crayons and more, we gifted nearly 300 hours of service to our community. It was an amazing day for us and I hope it was for you as well...."
