July 4th, 2007 Parade

"A nation rose with pride
to answer freedom's call
Some gave a year or two
So many gave their all"
"Give courage and protection, Lord to those who help and serve,
And grant all troops and veterans the blessings they deserve. Amen"
"The Sounds of Liberty" with Conductor Terry Lowery and the
Carroll Symphony Orchestra presented the program at the
Grisham Stadium, at 8:30 P. M. on July 4, 2007.
Veterans from left to right are: J. P. Rowe,
Roger Knowles, Jack Gilbert, Hugh Lee Young,
Donald Denney and other Army Veterans.
They continue up Alabama Street toward Adamson Square.

The Veterans are greeting the viewers as the parade gets started uptown.

Roger Knowles, Hugh Lee Young, J. P. Rowe, Donald Denney, and Norris Garrett
are ready to represent the Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park in the parade.

Veteran Cecil Davis, Dwight Riley and Larry Jennings,
members of American Legion Carroll Post,
waiting for the parade to start. Davis is ready to
"Parade" the flag of the United States of America for
the entire Parade Route!
